Camille makes and designs all the jewelry in her shop, but her emphasis has always been on rings. Her collection holds something for every hand and personality, and many favorites are androgynous -- for Camille, style is not limited by gender. Her custom work is a collaboration, with clients drawing inspiration from her collection and mixing their imagination with her ingenuity and experience.

Camille's creative process is informed by years of building things in diverse fields, everything from toy prototypes to furniture and prosthetic limbs. Her designs are made to stand the test of time and will endure as heirlooms to future generations. All of the pieces feature unique parts and construction techniques, everything is substantial without unnecessary weight and, above all, this jewelry is comfortable to wear.

The summer after college, Camille learned the trade of stonecutting from her grandfather in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. Shortly thereafter, she moved to New York City, where she has been creating eye-catching individuality ever since. Her South Williamsburg workshop, marked by pink barn doors and vintage tail lights, has been open for business since 2005.

Lately, she has been enjoying her "new" 1973 motorbike, when not busy fixing it.

In case you were wondering, Camille is still photographing those ugly couches...
